My name is Glenn Rosaroso Vale. Before September 18, 2020, my blood pressure averaged 160/90. Then, I got infected with COVID-19, and my blood pressure increased to an average of 225/110. I took medications like Carvedilol, Lisinopril, Clonidine, and Losartan, which lowered my blood pressure temporarily, but it always returned to 220/110, which was very scary.
I decided to change my lifestyle by eating fewer carbohydrates and took on a sardine challenge, eating sardines for 90 days. Each day, I ate 2 to 3 cans of sardines in water (no oil), with 3 to 5 teaspoons of rice squeezed with lemon. Over time, my blood pressure started normalizing to 110/70 without any medication.
