COVID-19 Infection

On September 18, 2020, I contracted COVID-19 and was hospitalized at Baylor Hospital in McKinney, Texas for 3½ days. After being discharged, I began noticing changes in my health.

Pfizer mRNA COVID-19 Vaccination

• December 23, 2020 — First dose of Pfizer mRNA COVID-19 vaccine (Lot # EK5730)

• January 11, 2021 — Second dose

In December 2020, my creatinine levels were still 1.0 mg/dL, showing normal kidney function. But after the vaccine doses, my health declined rapidly:

• Developed Dysautonomia → blood pressure swings, dizziness, fatigue

• Blood pressure spikes as high as 225/110

• Kidney function deteriorated rapidly, eventually leading to dialysis

Sudden Neurological & Cardiac Issues

After the second dose, my health worsened suddenly:

• January 29, 2021 — Sudden blurry vision, consulted Dr. Pandya at Dallas Retina Center, later had cataract laser surgery

• Severe numbness in lower extremities

• Frequent loss of balance → unsafe walking

• Diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)

• Imaging and nerve testing showed nerve damage at L4-L5 → worsening mobility

CIDP Diagnosis & Kidney Decline

On April 8, 2021, I was diagnosed with CIDP (Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy) by Dr. Karen Bontia, explaining my muscle weakness, numbness, and coordination issues.

At the same time, my kidney function collapsed:

• August 5, 2021 — Creatinine: 1.23 mg/dL

• September 2, 2022 — Creatinine surged to 4.61 mg/dL

• On dialysis since September 2022

At first, I believed my dialysis was caused by diabetes, but upon closer examination, the timing didn’t add up. My kidney function was normal before the vaccine, and the rapid progression of kidney damage was unlike the slow decline typical of diabetes-related kidney disease.

Later testing confirmed my suspicion: I had persistently high levels of spike protein in my system even 5 years after vaccination. This provided strong evidence that the spike protein, not just diabetes, played a central role in triggering and accelerating my kidney failure.

Current Status

Today, I live with:

• Diabetes

• Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)

• Kidney failure → on dialysis

• Dysautonomia → BP spikes up to 225/110

• Nerve damage at L4-L5 → balance & mobility problems

• CIDP

These conditions leave me with chronic fatigue, impaired mobility, and full dependence on medical care.

What Helped Me

While I still suffer from long COVID complications, certain steps helped ease my condition:

• Careful blood pressure management

• Lifestyle changes → diet adjustments, rest, and gentle activity within my limits

• Support from specialists in nephrology, neurology, and cardiology

What Did Not Help

• IgG transfusion → no improvement

• Gabapentin → ineffective for my neuropathic symptoms

My Message to Others

My injury started 2 weeks after the second vaccine dose — blurry vision, dysautonomia, congestive heart failure, and accelerated diabetes symptoms that pushed me into dialysis.

At first, I blamed diabetes for my kidney failure. But when I looked at the timing, I realized the rapid decline only began after the vaccine. Diabetes could not explain the speed or severity of the damage. Testing years later confirmed spike protein persistence, proving that my body was still burdened with it even 5 years post-vaccination.

I want others to know that:

• The timeline of decline is real and devastating

• These are not “mild” side effects — they are life-altering injuries

• Awareness and acknowledgment are essential for medical and legal justice
